I'll never let you go, 2021

I chose to examine the beauty and destruction behind ballet and wrestling - two practices that on the surface seem so different from each other, but are both ultimately physically exhausting on the human body. I decided to create these soft styled drawings to contrast the harshness of the actual movements. This piece was produced for my Mentor class during my final year at FIT.

Senior Thesis, 2022
For my thesis assignment at FIT, I chose to continue my exploration of illustrating the beauty behind the movement through gruesome practices. Each piece focuses on a separate practice, the first being hockey and second being figure skating. I built onto the idea by including overlapping elements throughout to represent the chaos, as well as adding symbols to represent motion

Light, 2022

Uncommissioned piece studying an image of Twiggy for British Vogue in 1967. I was drawn by the light feeling of the fabric being held up, as well as the actual  transparency coming through it

Rosalia, 2020

Inspired by her flamenco sound, this portrait of Rosalia captures the movement of a traditional flamenco dancer through her hair, garment, and body mannerisms. This assignment asked us to create a portrait that represented a nominated artist for the 2020 Grammy awards.

Patience, 2021

Uncommissioned illustration based off an image of Justin Bieber's neck tattoo. The softness of his hair in contrast to his striking angel wings tattoo drew me into this image in the first place, so I played on that idea when executing this drawing
